Daytrip in Durbuy Adventure Park offered to people with Asperger syndrome - August 2015

On August 1st 2015, 6 persons with Asperger syndrome participated to an outing to Durbuy Adventure Park at no cost for them.

This project has been led by our trainee in Communication and Public Relations, Laure. From fundraising to the final outing, everything has been organised so that they could enjoy this day with as less annoyance as possible.

Therefore, fundraising happened in two steps: first, the FAL had a booth during the holiday party of the Lycée Vauban de Luxembourg. A game and creative leisure could there be played so that a first part of the funds needed for the project could be raised. 15 moneyboxes have then be dropped in local shops so that they could encourage their clients to support us in this project.

Thanks to the donors and the funds we actually succeeded in raising, we offered this outing to 6 participants, joined by two volunteers. In the offing: kayak, lunch in terrace, mini-golf and karting.

Thank you to all those who contributed in making this project possible.

Additional profits to those needed for this project will be used to offer a garden swing-seat to the people living in our day-care centre in Munshausen, who impatiently wait for it.
