# Ethics

The **Fondation Autisme Luxembourg** aims to promote adherence to the code of ethics and fundamental rights of persons with autism with regard to all problems relating to this disorder. These fundamental rights are set out in the « Charter of rights for autistic persons » published by Autism- Europe in 1992 and adopted by the European Parliament in the form of a Written Declaration on 9 May 1996.

In addition to its activities, the **Foundation**, undertakes to respect ethics based on :

- the UN Declaration of 1975 on the Rights of Persons with disabilities
- the UN Rules of 1993 on the Equalisation of Opportunities for Persons with disabilities
- the Convention of 2008 on the Rights of Persons with disabilities
