### Our new Project aTypik SpAce: Autisme and the Work Place

At the start of this year, the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg is delighted to present the a**T**ypik **S**p**A**ce-project, which aims to promote the sustainable inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at the work place, through the creation of an ecosystem which supports the collective building of an inclusive working environment.

Specifically, the project includes:

- an **online training modules**, which aim to improve understanding of autism, allowing for an adaptation of managerial practices as well as the work environment;
- a d**edicated messaging platform,**providing a secure space for asking questions, discussing any possible difficulties, and supporting communication between stakeholders;
- **virtual reality tools** that promote a durable and inclusive work place for people with ASD.

The virtual reality tools will offer two types of experiences:

1. an immersive sensory awareness experience which aims to illustrate the experiences of people with ASD in order to enhance understanding and empathy;
2. access for people with autism to a sensory regulation space to reduce stress and promote well-being at work

#### The Project's Target Audience:

The project is aimed at three types of participants, namely, people with ASD, collegues of people with an ASD, and companies that want to raise awareness amongst their teams and who might employ people with ASD themselves.

**For companies, the concrete and collaborative approach of the project enables them to:**

- strengthen their inclusion practices and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) strategy;
- access innovative tools (targeted training, expert support, immersive virtual reality solutions)
- actively contribute to a project with a strong social impact and an inclusive dynamic in Luxembourg.

**For individuals with autism, this project constitutes the opportunity to share your experiences, gain greater understanding, and, above all, contribute to your own well-being.**
