Physical activity offers numerous benefits. Whether it’s on a physical, sensory-motor or social level, there are many considerable advantages. This is why we have set up AutiSport to allow every people with an autism spectrum disorder to practice sport regularly.
AutiSport offers a selection of structured sports activities adapted to the specific needs, abilities, desires and curiosities of each participant. AutiSport offers the opportunity to have fun, do sports regularly, make new acquaintances and learn new skills by getting to know different sports.
The sports lessons take place every Monday, except during school holidays, in the sports hall in Bridel (9, rue François-Christian Gerden, L-8132 Bridel). The courses start on September 21, 2020 and end on July 12, 2021 (as long as the national measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 allow it.) A reception is planned a quarter of an hour before and a quarter of an hour after the sport. The participants will be split in three groups according to their ages:
- children : 17.30 to 18.30
- teenagers : 17.30 to 18.30
- adults : 19 to 20
The educators of the foundation, who have been assigned to AutiSport, are responsible for the structure and organization of the lessons and will be supported by students, trainees or volunteers.
Are you an ASD person? Do not hesitate to ask if there are still places available for the different groups.
