Favoring durable employability for people with ASD
In the year 2026, the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg launched the project aTypik SpAce.
The project aims to favour the maintenance of work and quality of work life for people with austism spectrum disorder (ASD) by developing a technological, educational and human ecosystem.
The inclusive approach of the project allows for a creation of concrete tools destined at the group of actors of the professional world (employers, colleagues and employees with ASD) in order to favour:
-
durable and respectful integration of special needs;
-
-
well-being at the work place.
The 5 main activities of the project
To attend its objectives, the project aTypik SpAce relies on 5 main activities:
- a cooperative conception of the tools: collaborative workshops reuniting companies and people with ASD in order to develop the project's tools. The process also includes gathering needs, user testing, and continuous adjustments.
- an e-learning online module: the project offers interactive and multilingual workshops to spread awareness on ASD through testimonies of people with autism, scenarios, and personalised learning paths.
- a dedicated messaging platform: the secured and dedicated platform allows the access to a chatbot which answers first-level questions and the asking of questions concerning lived work-situations.
Target audiences
The project is currently aimed at 50 people with ASD, 30 partner-companies, and 150 collaborators (managers, HR, colleagues)
